Letters-Writing to Sellafield for a list of current videos.

Sellafield when I was little was a place of far away wonder. Only other schools visited it and my primary school was never going to let us go further than Wigan Pier, however we did go to Chatterley Whitfield Mining Museum once but that is another story.
Anyway, Sellafield is far away from where I live and it was more a 'big school' trip.
It had a visitors centre as they used to show adverts for it like this;

This whole experience was brought back to life for me when I found this very glossy 1990's brochure in my pile of papers and I immediately wanted to stand where that lady is and talk to her about the gift shop.

I wanted to go on the Sellafield Sightseer coach and see that swimming bath type building.

I wanted to walk in that blue tube and see the exciting array of life size working models.

I wanted to talk to that lady about that machine she has and see what that man had written on his very important clipboard. I REALLY wanted that visitor badge to keep forever.

I wanted the impressive purpose built mobile exhibition unit to come to my house and park up outside just for me. I wanted all of that literature from the specialist education unit that would meet the needs of my national curriculum learning.

I wanted to see what that man with the gloves was doing and I wanted to take part in the extensive video libraries free loan of company productions service.

After examining all of the data, inside my brochure of wonder was a coupon that you could fill in. I found that I COULD visit the visitors centre, I COULD have the travelling exhibition and I COULD have free loan of all the special publications from the extensive video library.
I couldn't cope with it any longer.

So as with most things I get excited about, this brochure is 26 years out of date. As we have seen with Free Stuff for Kids this means nothing to me so I will write and ask regardless.
We need that travelling exhibition and the extensive video selection. If they reply I am sure it will feel just like the occasions a dog would run onto the school playground.
